Easy to assemble with one exception. Since the instructions assume you are using it for a TV is may seem confusing to some about how to attach the mount plate to the Red Rush unit. If you download the RR instructions it is explained in there. As for use, my wife is 5'3 and I set it up on the low position. At 24" from the unit she is covered from her ankles to the top of her head. I am 6'3 and at 24 inches I am covered from just above the ankle to the base of my neck. Still prefer it to hanging on a door or wall mount.
